Air dried oak beams are machine-sawn and straight. They have had no prior use and can be re-cut to specified dimensions. The longer these beams have been air dried the more stable and less prone to further movement and cracking they become. Our main stock are 3-5 year seasoned but we also have a good selection of stock that is 15+ years seasoned. Air dried oak offers consistency of look. Some character may be added in the finishing process if required.
