Oakbeamuk.com can supply all oak beams in a raw, uncleaned condition although most customers opt for a cleaned and finished beam ready for installation. All oak beams must go through the cleaning process before a wax or oil finish can be applied.

Air-dried oak beams once cleaned are generally light in colour and can therefore have a wax coat applied to achieve a finished colour.

Reclaimed oak beams vary in colour once cleaned so we will always discuss with you what colour finish can be achieved before proceeding.
